An exciting new look will tomorrow be unveiled for WA’s most read glossy magazine, STM, which is now the new home for the TV listings, puzzles and horoscopes.
The magazine has doubled in size and contains 14 pages of TV listings in a compact glossy format, as well as a new page of TV reviews from “screen queen” Clare Rigden.
Each week readers will also find insightful, thought-provoking features from Seven West Media’s award winning journalists; and lifestyle content including Maggie Beer recipes, Brittany Bown’s new wellness page, three pages of home interiors and Nat Locke’s long-running column.
From Sunday, Kate Emery’s popular breakfast and brunch column will appear fortnightly in the magazine, alternating with Amanda Keenan’s restaurant and bar reviews.
And STM’s new fashion contributor Megan French has created a refreshing new-look fashion section, with a focus on inclusive trends that embrace the value and longevity of fashion.
The social pages, Oscar Cainer’s horoscopes and a bumper puzzles section — including the answers to last week’s puzzles in the Guide — are also contained in the 48-page magazine.
The cover stars of the new STM are Margaret River’s Jack Robinson, considered the rising star of the surf world, and his wife Julia Muniz, a successful Brazilian model.
The couple were photographed exclusively for STM on California’s Huntington Beach, and Robinson has given an insight into how he rode a wave of expectation to establish himself on the highly competitive World Surf League’s championship tour.
The 23-year-old has just finished his maiden year on the tour, capping it off with a win at the Corona Open Mexico, which cemented his status as an up-and-coming world threat.
Sunday’s magazine also tells of another home grown success story – that of Maeva Heim, whose hair products are stocked in beauty juggernaut Sephora, which opened in the new Karrinyup this week.
To celebrate the new STM, three lucky readers will win a $10,000 spending spree at the new Karrinyup. The competition runs weekly until October 24. To enter, look out for the first code word in Sunday’s magazine.
WA’s favourite health and beauty section Body+Soul is a stand-alone liftout.
